The house seems like a large eating machine, things arrive, they disappear into its innards and then various cardboard boxes are rejected into the skip.
I thought that I would take some photos to show the results.
First there were the polyester fabric with the weird rolls, which turned out to be the under flooring once they had been filled with insulation, the result is a very quiet upstairs.
Down stairs there are beads of perlite under an insulating matting from Kingspan covered with the special flooring material.
This adds both phonic and heat insulation. Making house already very quiet.
The pipes to carry the fresh air to the appropriate point in the house. Basically it is carried to all the rooms and then sucked out from the rooms that are moist or smelly such as the kitchen or bathroom.
Then one must not forget the miles of electric conduit and cable filling.
Every switch seems to have its own route back to the basement where the fuseboard resides.
Then of course there are doors.
All of which comes from the feeding machine shown here early in the morning.
Not forgetting the fresh air outlet heaters and the ceiling coverings
